Matthews Glen held an old-fashioned, small town County Fair event for all residents and staff recently. The day of fun included an apple bakeoff, flower and art display, fruit and vegetable stand, hayrides, antique tractors, cotton candy, funnel cakes, candy apples, hotdogs, a pig calling contest and a petting zoo. The Fair was littered with traditional games and wonderful prizes; it's not every day that there is a county fair in your backyard!
