
The groundbreaking of Park Pointe Village’s landmark expansion has captured the attention of media outlets across the Rock Hill and Charlotte region, as well as leading publications covering the senior living industry.
The $200+ million project, which adds 109 acres to the Park Pointe Village campus, represents one of the largest senior living investments in the Carolinas. The multi-phase expansion will ultimately bring new independent living residences, dining and social spaces, wellness and fitness amenities, assisted living suites, memory care, and enhancements throughout the existing community.
The July 31 groundbreaking brought together Park Pointe Village residents, local officials, project partners and Acts leadership to mark the beginning of a project that will shape the community for years to come.
The event and expansion have since been featured by local and industry media, highlighting both the scale of the investment and the continued demand for senior living options designed around today's seniors' desires for active, engaged lifestyles.

The media attention comes at a time of significant momentum for Park Pointe Village. The community is already home to approximately 270 residents and was recently recognized among America’s Best Continuing Care Retirement Communities by Newsweek.
As construction gets underway, Park Pointe Village is entering an exciting new chapter—one that will bring more opportunities for older adults to live actively, build connections and enjoy the lifestyle and peace of mind that a continuing care retirement community can provide.
The project is expected to continue taking shape over the coming years, with the first new residences and clubhouse anticipated to be completed in 2030.
