Today, the compassion and benevolence of some talented residents at Granite Farms Estates and Lima Estates was recognized in the local press.
The Main Line Times, a local Ardmore newspaper, highlighted the mask-masking work that a handful of residents at both communities are doing. These residents have been hand-sewing dozens of masks for Acts staff, and not only supporting the health care professionals that work where they live, but also created a greater sense of purpose for themselves.
This positive story shares the human angle of the resident mask-making efforts that are happening throughout many Acts communities lately. In a matter of weeks, socially-distanced groups like these have popped up at a variety of our communities.
