Enjoy Hassle-Free Travel with Acts Travel Program Across 9 States

Want to travel in your retirement without the stress of all the planning? Trying to pick a reputable hotel, plan activities and excursions, and where to eat each night can be daunting and perhaps one of the biggest hurdles to enjoying retirement travel. Fortunately for Acts residents, there's another way to see most of America's beautiful east coast, without an overwhelming amount of planning involved.

Acts' Travel Program gives exclusive access for all Acts residents who would like to visit any of its stunning locations across nine states along the East Coast.  Depending on your personality, you can find the perfect getaway, as each of Acts' resort-style campuses boasts distinctive qualities that set them apart.  What's more, you'll enjoy access to all the provided amenities, along with a comfortable and secure place to rest your head after a day of exploring.

Many residents love the spontaneous getaway in paradise during those long winter months.

"Two weeks ago it was 11 degrees and we had about eight inches of snow on the ground. I was so happy that I had booked this trip to Florida. It's 75 degrees. Beautiful breezes," said resident Diane Brown. Diane lives at Buckingham's Choice an Acts community in Adamstown, Maryland.  She visited St. Andrews Estates, one of two Acts communities located in sunny Boca Raton, Florida.

One of the remarkable aspects of traveling with Acts is the sense of security and peace of mind which allows residents to truly relax and enjoy their time away from home, in a comfortable setting they're accustomed to.

"The wonderful thing about traveling and staying in an Acts community is just knowing that the security is there. Everything is familiar," Diane said.

Also, the convenience of utilizing her meal plan away from home, makes visiting an Acts community a fun yet financially-friendly way to travel to different parts of the country.

"I love meeting new residents from different communities, and being able to use my meal plan from home, it's a win-win, " she said.

"The accommodations at St. Andrews Estates are also nothing short of exceptional, " Diane said, complimenting her comfortable guest apartment on campus.

What truly sets Acts communities apart for residents choosing to visit different campuses,  is the same warmth and sense of belonging felt as soon as they walk inside, even if it's thousands of miles from home.

"Residents here are all so friendly and helpful, going out of their way to greet you," she said. "We do the same in Maryland. It's interesting hearing other people's stories and what you may have in common."

What did Diane enjoy most about her stay? Exploring the beautiful, landscaped campus, walking amid nature and spotting the unique birds and wildlife at the community's multiple lakes, the well-appointed amenities, and meeting new friends with similar interests.

"I had such a good time walking around the grounds and it's absolutely beautiful and just picturesque. From the clubhouses, to arts and crafts rooms, it was so interesting to explore another Acts community," she said.

Diane choose to visit Acts' Boca Raton community because of its proximity to her grandchildren. After having such a positive experience, from peace of mind and security to the convenience, she plans to visit other Acts communities in different states.

"It's amazing to know that I can come down here from cold Maryland, 11 degrees with eight inches of snow on the ground to sunny Florida,  to relax and have a little respite from the winter," she said, "I'm planning to do this more often!"
