ACTS Retirement ExecutivesACTS Retirement-Life Communities, one of the nation's largestcontinuing care retirement community (CCRC) organizations,recently announced the promotions of three individuals to key leadership positions within the company.

Karen I. Christiansen has been promoted to the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Ms. Christiansen has served ACTS for the past 18 years in a variety of financial positions, most recently as Senior Vice President of Financial Services. In addition to her increased financial responsibilities, she will directly oversee the corporate areas of Information Technology, Procurement and Risk Management.

Charles W. Coxson, III, has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Community Operations. Mr. Coxson has served ACTS for over 16 years in a variety of operational roles, including Executive Director at multiple ACTS communities and most recently as Vice President of the Florida Region. In his new role, he will be responsible for all aspects of community operations at ACTS' 23 community locations throughout the east coast.

Jefferson D. Kaighn has been promoted to the position of Senior Vice President of Legislative Affairs & Organizational Development. Mr. Kaighn has served ACTS for over 19 years in a variety of operational roles, including Executive Director at multiple ACTS communities and most recently as Vice President of the Pennsylvania Region. In his new role, he will oversee the areas of social accountability, public policy and advocacy, and new business development.
