Major community enhancement will add new residences, amenities, and lifestyle offerings to meet growing demand.
Acts Retirement-Life Communities, one of the nation’s largest not-for-profit senior living organizations, recently unveiled plans for a major expansion of its Park Pointe Village community located in the heart of Rock Hill, South Carolina.
The ambitious development will add 109 acres to the campus and will more than double the community’s independent living offerings while delivering an enhanced lifestyle experience for current and future residents. Anchored by a stunning new 18,000-square-foot clubhouse, the expansion will include:
- 130 new independent living residences, including spacious apartments and stylish duplex carriage homes
- A full suite of new indoor and outdoor amenities, from walking trails and pickleball courts to new restaurants and gathering spaces
- 20 additional assisted living suites and a memory care neighborhood, along with updates to the community’s main entrance and shared areas

The new construction will feature a three-story apartment building with 48 independent living residences, 82 carriage homes, and a clubhouse, with work expected to begin once pre-sales targets are achieved. The project reflects the growing interest in Park Pointe Village, which has seen sustained demand and a strong waitlist for residency. Once complete, the expansion will deliver an even more dynamic senior living experience while also generating new jobs and positive economic impact in the region.
Named as one of America’s Best Continuing Care Retirement Communities in 2025 by Newsweek, Park Pointe Village is home to approximately 270 residents. Interest in the new residences is high, with pre-sales exceeding the company’s projections.
