Patsy Neal, a Georgia native and resident of Acts Matthews Glen, has been inducted into the Georgia Sports Hall of Fame — a milestone honor in a groundbreaking career that helped shape the early history of women’s athletics.

Already enshrined in the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame, Neal was a trailblazer during an era when opportunities for female athletes were limited. A three-time AAU All-American, national free-throw champion, Pan-American Games gold medalist, and U.S. World Championship team captain, her achievements paved the way for future generations.

Neal’s story is one of resilience, leadership, and lasting impact on the game of basketball, and we're proud to celebrate her as a member of the Acts family.
