Lanier Village Estates held a groundbreaking celebration for the “phase two” expansion of the Memory Lane Garden project this April. The Memory Lane Garden project is a resident activity that begun in 2006 and is fully funded by gifts from residents, family and friends in honor or in memory of loved ones. The first phase of the garden, professionally designed, was completed a few years ago and is starting to mature. Last year the committee decided to work toward creating the second phase. The Landscape Committee worked with Fockele Garden Company, the firm responsible for the landscaping of our entire campus, to develop the first phase of the garden and they designed and installed the second phase as well. A robust group of residents, staff and friends attended the beautiful ceremony.
