Manor House residents recently were treated to a nostalgic evening by students from the Seaford High School Key Club. The group organized a “Winter Wonderland Senior Prom” to bring back memories from residents’ high school proms decades before. The night transported more than 100 seniors back in time to when ballroom and Big Band swing dance ruled the dance floor. The local Smooth Sound Dance Band, an 18-piece ensemble, performed classics from the era. The Key Club sponsored the event through their own fundraising efforts and students said it was their way of giving back to the local seniors. They also performed a special dance routine for the residents, and the whole group was entertained by a professional swing dance couple later in the evening.
