On January 12, 2019, France awarded the French Legion of Honour to three Bucks County, PA, World War II veterans at a ceremony hosted by Southampton Estates.
Peter Rossetti, Jack Bodner and William Hufford (posthumous) were honored for their roles in the liberation of France and Europe. Hon. Consul of France, Michael Scullin, presented the medals, while U.S. Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick hand delivered three folded U.S. flags that had been flown over the U.S. Capitol in honor of the three men.
