The Education Foundation of Indian River County (EF-IRC) is pleased to gain the support of the residents of Indian River Estates.
Through their big-hearted and generous support of the community, school supplies and donations were collected to benefit Dodgertown Elementary School.
The Executive Director of the EF-IRC, Cynthia Falardeau, explains, "Our mission is to increase the community's investment in our schools. We would love for every school to be adopted by a local business or residential community. It's a great way for schools to gain new volunteers and support."
Tracey Soethe, Life Enrichment Director, of Indian River Estates West and Bill Churchill, President of the Indian River Estates — East Resident Association, presented boxes of school supplies and donations to Dodgertown Principal Liz Tetreault and Cynthia Falardeau of the EF-IRC.
The Education Foundation is a nonprofit organization working to enhance the community's investment in our schools with the goal of achieving excellence for students and educators.
We fulfill our mission by providing links from the community at large to classroom projects and goals; initiating and supporting innovative programs throughout the county's schools, and by collaborating with Indian River Schools to develop and secure funding for professional development.
