Azalea Trace’s 16th Annual Heritage Festival is Rousing Success

Azalea Trace Heritage FestivalThe 16th Annual Heritage Fall Festival at Azalea Trace was a record breaking extravaganza. Close to 300 residents paid $110 each to attend the elegant dinner and were entertained by the Pensacola Children’s Chorus.  There were a total of 73 raffle prizes – from gift certificates to local restaurants and stores to designer jewelry and two coveted $500 Visa gift cards. Excited residents bought tickets throughout the week prior to the festival and the evening of – all hoping to hear their name in the raffle drawing, which alone raised $7500.

In addition to tremendous resident support, more than a dozen local companies and vendors supported the cause, which benefits those residents who have outlived their resources through no fault of their own.  Special thanks to David Timberlake, chair of the Azalea Trace Heritage Fund Committee, and the hard work done by countless volunteers who coordinated table decorations, setting up the raffle display and selling tickets. It was a family affair filled with loving-kindness.
