Active Aging Across the Mid-South
Residents at Plantation Estates got tattoos as part of Active Aging Week! A local artist visited the community to decorate residents with temporary henna tattoos. Henna, both a natural plant dye and style of temporary body art, is a popular form of art with a rich history.
Residents of Lanier Village Estates enjoyed Sip & Painting, where they created some fall-themed art. Expressing their creativity through the paintbrush, they painted pumpkins and proudly presented their art.
Plantation Estates Hosts Mid-South OlympiActs
The 2018 Mid-South OlympiActs, held this year at Plantation Estates for the first time, was a big success. Competing residents and cheering supporters enjoyed a
day of fun and fitness. Matthews Mayor Paul Bailey and Carolina Panthers mascot Sir Purr stopped by to enjoy the festivities as well!
