Music therapy and the Samaritan Fund continue to be top philanthropic priorities. Breakfast benefits and a fashion show luncheon were coordinated by the Lanier Village Estates resident Samaritan Fund Committee. Magnolia Trace’s very active Spiritual Life Committee makes recommendations on how their donations are used. Residents formed a new Courtyard Committee to spearhead fundraising for a shaded social area for all to enjoy. Thanks to hard working residents, Park Pointe Village has faithfully continued its relationship with H&R Block. Park Pointe Village has the highest number of independent living households making charitable gifts to Acts funds. Volunteerism at Plantation Estates is at an all-time high. An active group oversees the community thrift shop Goods to Go. The Building a Legacy Chapel Committee is still engaged, and the Plantation Estates Samaritan Fund Committee hosted an “Armchair” video home tour and luncheon to benefit their Samaritan Fund. Tryon Estates and its Sharing Our Faith Spiritual Life and Chapel Committee worked, prayed, encouraged and gave generously to successfully surpass their campaign goal. Tryon Estates Chapel Committee.
