MID-ATLANTIC REGION HIGHLIGHTS WillowBrooke Court residents at Cokesbury Village were able to enjoy numerous donor- funded enhancements including live music during dinner and several new pieces of equipment. Country House residents are enjoying the landscaping enhancements which include new plantings and expansions of the automated irrigation system, keeping the grounds beautiful while more efficiently using resources. In 2018 we welcomed The Evergreens in Moorestown, NJ, into the Acts Family. Heron Point residents celebrated the ribbon cutting for their new art studio, conference room, and rehabilitation suite renovations. The new art studio provides a dedicated workspace for the community’s many talented resident artists along with a large classroom space. There is a wonderful new outdoor space at Manor House under the newly constructed pavilion. Residents are enjoying parties and activities in this space, making use of the new comfortable, sturdy outdoor furniture provided through donor funds. Three crafty Granite Farms Estates residents donated their time and materials to handmake and sell beautiful note cards and envelopes to support their Samaritan Fund.
