  One Going on One Hundred
February marked the one-year anniversary of The Evergreens joining the Acts family, and while residents and staff marked the occasion with an ice cream social, the community is turning its sights to an even more astonishing milestone this fall – the 100th year since its founding. We’re looking forward to celebrating the century mark with one of our newest affiliate family members!

All Shook Up: Manor
House Rocks with
‘The King’
Residents at Manor House celebrated the life and birthday of Elvis Presley with impersonator Bob Lougheed. Thank ya, thank ya very much. Everyone enjoyed music and a chance to pose for a photo with “The King.”
Heron Point Resident’s Lifetime of Art on Display
Heron Point of Chestertown resident Joanne Scott is being honored for a lifetime of work by the Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts, which she co-founded in 1978. The exhibit, “Artwork by Joanne S. Scott: 60 Year Retrospective,” reflects Scott’s love for the outdoors, and includes mediums from acrylics and watercolors to lithography, etching, and various other printmaking techniques. Scott’s poetry, which is also showcased
in the exhibition, was inspired by her time spent in Annapolis raising her family and sailing its waters.
