                        The Benevolent Funds of Acts
Benevolence is the desire to help someone or a feeling of goodwill toward others. Many mission- driven organizations establish benevolent funds with the specific purpose to help others through financially difficult times. The Acts Samaritan Fund and the Acts Employee Catastrophic Fund are the benevolent funds of Acts. Acts Legacy Foundation facilitates the fund raising and stewardship of these important programs.
    ACTS SAMARITAN FUND
This fund helps relieve the financial burden, through direct fee assistance, which can confront any Acts resident when unexpected dissipation of personal resources, through no fault of their own, makes it difficult or even impossible to meet the total cost of care. When community specific resident assistance funds are insufficient, this Greatest Need Fund (Acts Samaritan Fund) supplements the community in meeting their specific benevolent resident assistance needs. Direct donations to the Acts Samaritan Fund allow greater flexibility and assures that the need
of every community is met. 92 Residents received assistance in 2020.
