At Cokesbury Village in 2011, shortly after the passing of his beloved wife, Bill Cobb decided he wanted to do something to both honor the memory of Inez and recognize the staff who provided her with outstanding care and attention during her final weeks. Bill worked with the Foundation staff to create the Person Centered Care Award, which is presented annually to a Certified Nursing Assistant that goes above and beyond to provide that personalized care to residents of WillowBrooke Court. Bill passed the torch to his son Barry in 2015. Since Bill’s passing, Barry and his wife Rosemary have continued
to honor his parent’s legacy at Cokesbury Village supporting and attending the award presentation and reception every December.
