When I moved to Tryon Estates, a committee was being formed to see if the residents could raise enough money to build a Chapel. I was intrigued. I loved the idea of having a place to have worship for those that could not physically travel to their church any more, to have a service for end of life, or just to have some place to sit quietly. I was fortunate enough after many decades of working and saving to be able to designate a gift in my will. This gift made me feel as if my life had made a difference that will benefit this generation and those to come.” 23
