Evans Madge Steiner, Lanier Village Estates “My late husband Jack and I moved into a cottage in 2001 when Lanier Village Estates first opened. Right from the start, we felt led to give back to this most wonderful community in terms of volunteerism and stewardship. Back in the day, I visited residents at WillowBrooke Court with my canine companion. For 17 years, I was honored to serve as treasurer of the Spiritual Life Committee, on the Campaign Committee to build our spectacular chapel, and on the Lanier Village Samaritan Fund Council. Four years ago, I transitioned to OakBridge Terrace where I continue to give and serve in whatever capacity I can. I feel blessed to live in such a comfortable and caring place as Lanier Village Estates. I came to realize that others unfortunately run short of funds, due to no fault of their own. I determined to make my memorial gifts to the Samaritan Fund. From time to time my finances permit me to give larger gifts of money or stock.
