Our primary focus continues to be on prevention, and we are continuing to add additional measures on top of our existing plans and infection control protocols within our communities. Many of the actions taken in an effort to reduce the number of people accessing our communities, and provide appropriate social distancing of residents and employees, include, but are not limited to:

We are thankful and appreciative of the cooperation, support, and partnership of our residents, employees and the public as we implement and follow these protocols to reduce any risk of exposure to our residents and employees. We assure you that we will continue to take every action that is in the best interests of our residents and employees. We understand that these are anxious times, and we pray that this virus is abated quickly and that all our residents and employees are further protected by our actions and remain healthy.

March 3, 2020 - Acts Retirement-Life Communities places the health and wellness of our residents and employees as our highest priority. We are continuing to monitor the coronavirus situation very closely to ensure we are taking all appropriate measures to protect our communities, residents and employees.

To date, there have been no reported cases or interruption of services resulting from coronavirus within our communities, and residents and employees are receiving ongoing communication updates from our corporate and campus leadership teams. Our healthcare team, in cooperation with state and local partners, has been diligent in enacting precautions within all Acts communities. These measures include reinforcing infection control procedures and monitoring the flow of traffic at each community.

In conjunction with these efforts, our residents and staff have been urged to follow the recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) for preventing any viral respiratory illness within their community, including regular washing of hands, practicing good cough etiquette, and advising sick employees to stay at home if they exhibit signs of the virus.

Further, Acts has implemented a policy for residents, employees, vendors and visitors who have traveled to or plan to travel to high-risk areas in order to monitor their health status following CDC guidelines. In addition, out of an abundance of caution, Acts is limiting non-essential business air travel for all employees for the immediate future.

Thank you for your support while we ensure the safety of all of our residents and staff. We will continually update this web page with any changes in campus operation or as new information is available.
