West Point, PA, March 10, 2010 — The board of directors of ACTS Retirement-Life Communities, one of the nation’s leading not-for-profit aging services organizations, today announced the election of new board members. The new members are Annlouise Devenney of Fort Washington, Pa., and Suzanne N. Pritchard of Media, Pa.
Annlouise Devenney RN, spent her entire career in the nursing profession at Pennsylvania Hospital, where she held numerous progressive positions over a 30-year span. She graduated from Pennsylvania Hospital School of Nursing and has a bachelor of science degree in education from Temple University and a master of science in education from St. Joseph University, as well as a master of science in nursing from Boston College Graduate School. She was elected to Sigma Theta Tau of the National Honors Society of Nursing and received the Chapel of the Four Chaplains Award for Service to Humanity. She remains active in the greater community, volunteering for numerous community and healthcare organizations. Devenny lives at Fort Washington Estates, an ACTS community in Upper Dublin Township, Pennsylvania.
Suzanne Pritchard, Esq., is an attorney at law for McCann & Geschke, P.C., in Philadelphia, Pa. Her practice includes litigating all aspects of guardianships in Orphans’ Court in Philadelphia, Delaware and Montgomery Counties. Ms. Pritchard received her B. M.Ed. cum laude from Temple University. Ms. Pritchard is a member of the Elder Law Section of the Philadelphia Bar Association, and in 2009 received the Pro Bono Public Award in recognition of her work in the Orphans’ Court Division of the First Judicial District of Pennsylvania. She also serves on the Community College of Philadelphia Paralegal Advisory Board and is a member of the Philadelphia Area Society for Healthcare Risk Management (PASHRM) where she is a frequent lecturer on topics related to guardianship and medical decision making.
