The ACTS Advantage

In the landscape of retirement living options, ACTS stands out in many important ways.

National Leadership

Residents who live in an ACTS community can be confident they've invested their future with one of the nation's most trusted and experienced retirement housing and services organizations, with a track record spanning more than 40 years of meeting the needs of older adults.

Financial Stability

ACTS is one of the strongest companies in the senior living industry, having earned some of the top ratings for financial soundess by Standard & Poor's (BBB+ rating) and Fitch Ratings (A- Rating).

Industry Seal of Excellence

All eligible ACTS communities have attained the senior industry's mark of excellence having been accredited by an independent agency for meeting high standards for service, care and fiscal responsibility.

Strength in Numbers

ACTS is the largest not-for-profit owner, operator and developer of CCRCs in the United States, resulting in operating and cost efficiencies - savings which are passed to residents in the form of stable monthly fees that have increased less than 4% annually over the past 15 years.

Resident Satisfaction

ACTS communities consistently receive high ratings from residents. About a third of our new residents each year come from referrals by other ACTS residents.

Health Care Security

ACTS residents have peace of mind knowing that even if a higher level of care is needed, their monthly fee will not change and that care will be provided in our on-campus health centers, WillowBrooke Court and OakBridge Terrace, which are consistently ranked among the nation's best in quality of care provided.

Not-for-Profit

ACTS' single focus is on making life better for residents, not making a profit for investors, and diligently reinvests excess operating revenue back into its communities for improvements and additional resident services, while our mission driven philosophy enables us to attract employees with similar values.

Tax Advantages

ACTS residents can deduct significant portions of their entrance fee and monthly fees as a prepaid medical expense. There is no immediate tax deduction with fee-for-service plans offered by other providers.
