The community contains 104 independent living apartments — ranging from studios to one and two bedroom apartment homes — as well as continuing care accommodations of 20 assisted living suites and 40 skilled care beds available to residents, should they ever need a higher level of care. 

Fort Washington Estates was designed with easy retirement living in mind, so there are many recreational spaces, amenities & services located on our 16-acre campus to keep you active and enjoying life.

 Fort Washington Estates is nestled in the quaint and historic small town of Fort Washington, PA, in the heart of Montgomery County.

Residents here enjoy the close-knit small town, and the proximity to the shopping, dining, health care and other local conveniences they know and love. For big city amenities, Philadelphia’s Center City, with many fine shops, restaurants, theaters, as well as some of the nation’s top hospitals and health are providers, is just half an hour away.

Secure, recognized and accredited

Fort Washington Estates proudly offers residents ACTS’ Type A Life Care Contract, the most secure contract a CCRC can offer, assuring residents physical and financial security throughout their retirement years.

Furthermore, Fort Washington Estates is accredited by the Continuing Care Accreditation Commission. This accreditation is the highest recognition a continuing care retirement community (CCRC) can attain.
