Our sprawling 215-acre mountainside campus gives you many activities, amenities & services to entertain and enliven your day. The community, which opened in 1992, boasts an indoor pool, walking trails, carriage homes, a crocquet court, and even a private fishing lake.

On the inside, our generously sized carriage homes and one, two and three bedroom apartment homes can all be customized to suit your taste. There are also continuing care accommodations of 44 assisted living suites and 52 skilled care beds for residents, should they ever need a higher level of care.

Tryon Estates proudly offers residents ACTS’ Type A Life Care Contract, the most secure contract a CCRC can offer, assuring residents physical and financial security throughout their retirement years.

Furthermore, Tryon Estates is accredited by the Continuing Care Accreditation Commission. This accreditation is the highest recognition a continuing care retirement community (CCRC) can attain.
